Adv. Dip Arts (Acting)
200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training
As a huge nerd with a (sometimes inconvenient) love of studying, the science of how the body works and moves drew me in from an early age.
Born and raised in Adelaide, I have always had a strong affinity for community and creativity. These loves ultimately shaped my pathway away from studying Law and led me to study dance and acting instead. I graduated from ACArts in 2012 with an Adv. Dip in Acting, and spent the next 4 years freelance performing, producing and directing local and national theatre productions.
After a couple of years working for the State Theatre Company, I decided that I wanted to use my newly learned skills in administration, and work for Active Bodies Physiotherapy as the Assistant Manager.
The last 18 months have taught me a lot about myself and even more about how I interact with those around me. After completing my Yoga Teacher training in early 2019, I have reconnected with my love of community and genuinely take an interest in the physio clients I deal with, aiming to make their experience as clear, supported and stress free as possible.
I have particular interests in diversity, equality and inclusivity in the workplace and love to advocate for progressive change. I hope to make our practice a place where any person regardless of their age, ethnicity, sexuality, gender or ability can feel like they are respected, listened to and have access to equal treatment.
As the head of administration for Active Bodies Physiotherapy, I personally oversee accounts, WorkCover claims, medicare plans, and all practice work flow. I also work with Triton our owner and head physio on strategy and development.
If you have any questions, concerns or simply want to understand something a little more I’d love to discuss it with you, and if I don’t know the answer I will soon enough!
